Crawford TPA is recruiting a Liability Claims Consultant to join a high-performing team across Australia. You will manage personal injury and property liability claims from lodgement through to settlement, while building valuable industry relationships and contributing to outstanding client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience managing liability claims (at least 1 year).
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation and claims handling practices.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of liability claims from lodgement through to settlement.
• Assess coverage, liability and claim quantum in line with policy requirements.
• Investigate and manage complex personal injury and property liability claims.
• Provide technical advice and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Participate in client reviews and claims strategy discussions.
• Manage escalated claims and complaints as required.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, solicitors, brokers and external service providers.

What We Are Looking For

Essential

• Previous experience managing liability claims (at least 1 years' experience)
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation and claims handling practices
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to prioritise workloads and work autonomously
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Desirable

• Tertiary qualifications in Law, Business, Insurance or a related discipline
