Qualifications

• Previous experience managing liability claims (at least 1 year).
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation and claims handling practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities; ability to prioritise workloads and work autonomously.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of liability claims from lodgement through to settlement.
• Assessing coverage, liability and claim quantum in line with legislation and policy requirements.
• Investigating and managing complex personal injury and property liability claims.
• Providing technical advice and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Participating in client reviews and claims strategy discussions.
• Managing escalated claims matters and complaints where required.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, solicitors, brokers and external service providers.
