Job summary

Crawford TPA in Australia is seeking a Liability Claims Consultant to manage liability claims from lodgement to settlement, developing autonomy and strong client relationships with diverse stakeholders across jurisdictions.

You will handle personal injury and property liability matters, receiving ongoing training and support while contributing to outstanding client outcomes within a global organisation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of liability claims from lodgement through to settlement.
• Assessing coverage, liability and claim quantum in line with legislation and policy requirements.
• Investigating and managing complex personal injury and property liability claims.
• Providing technical advice and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Participating in client reviews and claims strategy discussions.
• Managing escalated claims matters and complaints where required.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, solicitors, brokers and external service providers.

• Previous experience managing liability claims (at least 1 years’ experience)
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation and claims handling practices
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to prioritise workloads and work autonomously
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Tertiary qualifications in Law, Business, Insurance or a related discipline
