Job summary

Crawford TPA is seeking an experienced Liability Claims Consultant to join a high-performing team across Australia. The role focuses on managing personal injury and property liability claims from lodgement to settlement, while building valuable industry relationships and delivering outstanding client outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have proven liability claims experience, strong legislative knowledge and the ability to work autonomously in a collaborative, evolving global organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience managing liability claims (personal injury and property) from lodgement to settlement.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and claims handling practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of liability claims from lodgement through to settlement.
• Assess coverage, liability and claim quantum in line with policy requirements.
• Investigate and manage complex personal injury and property liability claims.
• Provide technical advice and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Participate in client reviews and claims strategy discussions.
• Manage escalated claims matters and complaints where required.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, solicitors, brokers and external service providers.

What We Are Looking For

Essential

• Previous experience managing liability claims (at least 1 years’ experience)
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation and claims handling practices
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to prioritise workloads and work autonomously
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Desirable

• Tertiary qualifications in Law, Business, Insurance or a related discipline
