Australian Secret Intelligence Service is seeking Level 4–6 Recruitment Specialists to join the Recruitment Section in Canberra. You will plan and conduct end-to-end recruitment activities, support onboarding, and help shape selection methodologies to ensure a positive candidate experience.
You will work with stakeholders and team members, meeting tight deadlines while adapting to changing priorities and ASIS priorities. A strong communication skillset and willingness to learn are essential.
Roles in the Recruitment Section plan and conduct the full life cycle of recruitment activities for ASIS including contributing to the development of marketing and branding strategies. Refining selection methodologies and developing a positive candidate experience throughout a selection and onboarding continuum is a high priority for this team.
These roles require dynamic team players who enjoys working with stakeholders, team members and individually on projects. You will be able to meet tight deadlines and work to support ASIS priorities.
As a Level 4 Recruitment Specialist you may be looking to start your career in HR. If you have the right attitude and a passion for HR, we can teach you the skills! We are looking for enthusiastic team players that will deliver high-quality, responsive and efficient recruitment administration services. You will have a strong willingness to learn new skills and systems, high attention to detail and be able to determine priorities.
As a Level 5 Recruitment Specialist you will have some experience working in a recruitment team or an interest in expanding you HR skill set or knowledge base. You will have excellent verbal and written communication, be a problem solver, and an engaged team player. Good judgement is a must, as well as strong attention to detail and adaptability. You will be able to identify process improvements and manage competing priorities.
As a Level 6 Recruitment Specialist you will have demonstrated subject matter experience in recruitment and be a motivated team leader to deliver high-quality, responsive, and efficient recruitment services. You will drive new initiatives, set team priorities, coach and develop junior staff, and have the ability to problem solve complex HR issues. You may have relevant HR tertiary qualifications and/or AHRI certification or interest towards obtaining qualifications.
