Job summary

The Mater Hospital in Sydney’s North Shore invites applications for a rotating Physiotherapist Level 1/2 in a permanent full-time capacity. The role delivers inpatient physio services, conducts assessments and plans treatments within the hospital’s allied health team.

Weekend/evening availability may be required depending on occupancy. Applicants must hold a Physiotherapy degree, current AHPRA registration, and have at least 1 year of acute hospital experience.

About The Role

• This position will be a Level 1/2 physiotherapy role in a permanent full-time capacity.
• This role will provide physiotherapy service to inpatients within their designated hospital area.
• The role will carry out patient assessments and plan appropriate treatment interventions.
• Provide treatment to patients, utilising aids, equipment as appropriate.
• Continually monitor the patient’s condition and progress treatments, accordingly, reporting as necessary to the Senior Physiotherapist on the treatment program.
• This role will require some weekends and evening availability depending on hospital occupancy.

About You

• Degree in Physiotherapy.
• Current AHPRA registration.
• At least one-year acute hospital experience.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Weekend and evening availability required.
