Job summary

Westpac Group in Sydney is seeking a Senior Manager, Lending Management Operations to lead a high-performing team responsible for the end-to-end delivery of corporate lending transactions. You will oversee origination, settlement and portfolio servicing while maintaining a strong risk and controls mindset.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Credit Risk, Finance, Treasury and FX to deliver exceptional service outcomes for Westpac's largest institutional customers.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams within corporate lending, institutional banking or financial markets operations.
• Strong knowledge of corporate lending products, including bilateral and syndicated loans.
• Ability to manage complex operational processes with a strong risk and control mindset.
• Experience building relationships with stakeholders across lending, credit, treasury, FX, derivatives or product teams.
• Proven track record in developing people and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing lending operations team from origination through to settlement and portfolio servicing.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of complex corporate lending transactions and ensure risk and controls are maintained.
• Collaborate with Product, Credit Risk, Finance, Treasury, FX and Lending Services to optimize processes.
• Drive continuous improvement, operational excellence and service outcomes for institutional banking clients.
