RAC WA is seeking an experienced Lending Lead to join our Personal Finance team. This hands-on role will shape capability, influence policy and deliver outstanding member outcomes.

You will lead lending activities, govern policies, and mentor others while ensuring compliant, efficient processes. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Personal Finance, you will be the 2IC, handling escalations, improving lending practices and driving continuous improvement initiatives to benefit RAC members across

Qualifications

• Experience in personal loan assessment.
• Knowledge of NCCP, AML/CTF and KYC obligations.
• Experience writing or updating policies and procedures.
• Proven leadership capabilities without direct reports.

Responsabilités

• Act as the subject matter expert for document verification and lending scenarios.
• Own and continuously improve lending policies and procedures, ensuring they remain current and well documented.
• Assist with assessing and approving personal loan applications and preparing loan documentation.
• Ensure adherence to NCCP, AML/CTF and KYC obligations.
• Support governance reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as 2IC to the Personal Finance Manager and lead the team as required.
• Coach, support and uplift team capability through 1:1s, call reviews and quality assessments.
