Job summary

SA Health in Penola is seeking a Leisure & Lifestyle Coordinator to develop, deliver and evaluate person-centred leisure and wellbeing programs for older people. You will work with residents, families and carers to reflect individual interests and cultural needs, while coordinating staff and volunteers and maintaining accurate documentation.

This ongoing full-time role supports residential and community care within the Limestone Coast Local Health Network and contributes to service evaluation,

Qualifications

• Experience developing or delivering leisure, lifestyle, wellbeing, recreation or person-centred support programs.
• Experience working with older people, people with disability or people with diverse support needs.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, coordinating with families, carers, staff and community stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating staff, volunteers or students while managing competing priorities and maintaining documentation.
• Experience contributing to service evaluation, quality improvement or compliance activities; proficient with Microsoft O365.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the development, delivery and evaluation of person-centred leisure and wellbeing programs for residents.
• Coordinate staff and volunteers, ensuring aligned priorities and clear documentation.
• Maintain care and program documentation and build community partnerships.
• Contribute to quality improvement and accreditation activities across residential and community care services.
