Job summary

HealthShare NSW invites applications for a Leisure and Lifestyle Allied Health Assistant based in Holbrook, NSW. You will support residents by delivering group and individual leisure programs and assist with diversional therapy under Allied Health supervision.

You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, organise communications and documentation, and help create lifestyle care plans that reflect residents' lives, interests and preferences in a safe, supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a range of group and individual leisure and lifestyle programs
• Correspondence and document management including the organisation of various deadlines and communications within a multidisciplinary team
• Perform and assist with activities under the supervision and direction of treating Allied Health Professionals such as exercise classes and community outings
• Facilitate and participate in diversional therapy activities
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and the multidisciplinary team
• Create individual lifestyle care plans and programs for residents
