Job summary

Moyne Health Services is seeking a Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant to support the group coordinator in delivering an activities program designed with clients attending groups and activities.

Programs may be delivered on site or in community settings, with transport to the centre and activities as part of the role. The role recognises clients of varying abilities and requires appropriate support to ensure an inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of wellness and reablement approaches to aged care, goal setting and care planning.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of accreditation standards and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver activities program on site or in community settings.
• Transport clients to the centre and activities as required.
• Provide inclusive and welcoming environment for clients of varying abilities.
