Clifford Chance LLP is seeking a Knowledge Lawyer (part-time or full-time) to ensure lawyers have up-to-date knowhow and templates. You will analyse legal developments, maintain templates, and share knowledge through client briefings and training.

Work with global teams and the Australian practice to support Corporate, M&A and finance matters. You will contribute to templates, knowledge sharing, and training programs, while engaging with partners, lawyers and the Transformation Team to deliver

Qualificações

• Mid- to senior-level lawyer with 4–7 years' PQE in a leading commercial law firm.
• Strong background in M&A, including private M&A transactions, joint ventures and corporate reorganisations.
• Exposure to finance transactions is advantageous.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong drafting and legal writing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Highly organised, proactive and committed to delivering first-class service to lawyers and clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to engage across stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to stay current with legal and regulatory developments and translate into practical insights.

Responsabilidades

• Review and audit templates; develop a plan for a practice template system.
• Curate and maintain high-quality reusable templates.
• Standardise templates and clause banks; ensure currency and accuracy.
• Improve accessibility and use of templates, including automation.
• Encourage knowledge sharing by fee earners to a shared knowledge database.
• Facilitate post-deal reviews, analysis and knowledge consolidation.
• Assist with knowledge bank development with the local knowledge coordinator.
• Consider better knowledge sharing methods and develop Topic Guides.
• Assist in preparation and delivery of group-specific training.
• Deliver knowhow updates; promote use of AI tools with Transformation Team.
• Analyse forthcoming legal/regulatory developments to brief lawyers and clients.
• Prepare summaries and update internal resources like templates/Topic Guides.
