Job summary

RACGP is seeking a Legal & Finance Support Officer to join our Corporate Services team in a hybrid work environment. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will coordinate contracts, governance records and finance processes to drive efficient, compliant operations in support of Australia’s GPs.

You'll contribute to privacy, procurement, audits and financial administration, while improving business processes and maintaining key systems. A proactive, collaborative communicator is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration, coordination or business support roles, ideally within legal, corporate or professional services environment.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a collaborative approach.
• Proactive with a continuous improvement mindset.

About the role

Reporting to the General Counsel, you'll provide vital coordination and administrative support across Legal and Finance & Commercial Operations. You'll help manage contracts, governance records, procurement and finance processes, ensuring key business activities are delivered efficiently and compliantly to support the RACGP's purpose.

As our Legal & Finance Support Officer, you'll also:

• Coordinate contract execution, approvals and records management processes
• Maintain legal, governance, procurement and contract management systems and register
• Support privacy, procurement, audit, insurance and financial administration activities
• Improve business processes while coordinating stakeholders, documentation and action tracking.

Skills & Experience

• Experience in administration, coordination or business support roles, ideally within legal, corporate or professional services environment
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a collaborative approach
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and business systems, with a proactive continuous improvement mindset.
