Job summary

NAB is seeking a Legal Counsel to join the Markets Legal team in Australia to provide legal advice on financial markets transactional and regulatory matters. You will draft client transaction documents, negotiate terms, and develop strong relationships with NAB Markets.

• 3-4 years+ post admission experience in private, public and/or in-house legal practice and a current Australian Practising Certificate.
• Experience in a role providing legal advice to a global financial markets business with a strong regulatory focus is highly desirable.
• Strong drafting skills including exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to deliver, clear, pragmatic advice which balances risk and customer and business outcomes.
• Self-motivated, collaborative and able to juggle competing demands in a busy, energised environment.
