Job summary

Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer seeks an Automation & AI Analyst to join our Knowledge & Research team on a 12-month maximum-term contract, based in Sydney or Melbourne. You will design, develop and maintain automated legal templates and AI-enabled solutions supporting the firm’s legal and business teams, working with lawyers, knowledge professionals, Digital and IT, plus external vendors.

You’ll implement SharePoint, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI and Contract Express workflows, maintain

Qualifications

Experience in a legal or professional services firm.
Tech mindset with ability to understand and apply multiple technologies.
Enthusiasm for low-code/no-code automation.
Ability to adapt quickly as technology progresses.
Solid experience with automation platforms and Microsoft 365 Power Tools.
Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
Interest in AI and emerging technologies.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication for collaboration with legal and business teams.
Ability to work effectively in an agile, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated legal templates using Contract Express.
Design and maintain SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Copilot Agent solutions.
Support knowledge solutions across SharePoint, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI and AI platforms as needed.
Ensure WHS compliance and promote a safe, respectful workplace.
