Chisholm Institute of TAFE – Dandenong VIC is seeking an experienced Lecturer Information Technology (IT) for our Higher Education team. You will plan and deliver engaging IT courses, align resources to regulatory standards, and foster a positive learning environment.

The role requires AQF Level 8+ qualifications in IT or related fields, and a commitment to inclusive, flexible teaching. You will work across programs, contribute to program development, and support student success in our diverse

Qualifications

• AQF Level 8+ in Cyber Security, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
• Experience in higher education teaching.
• Ability to adapt materials to diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Plan education practices and delivery sessions that reflect the most effective way to engage learners.
• Ensure that teaching materials and resources meet all regulatory standards, training packages and related requirements.
• Establish and maintain a positive learning environment, including encouraging students to take responsibility for their own learning.
• Adapt learning and assessment materials to cater for different students, learning environments, facilities, and resources.
• Undertake a range of administrative, coordination, and learning services activities directly related to the areas taught.
• Assist in relation to the establishment, maintenance, and review of teaching programs.
• Maintain a respectful, and safe environment free from discrimination, bullying and harassment.

Chisholm is seeking an experienced Lecturer Information Technology (IT) for our Higher Education team.

About the role

As a Lecturer, Information Technology (IT) Higher Education, your key responsibilities include:

• Plan education practices and delivery sessions that reflect the most effective way to engage learners.

About you

You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in transferring knowledge, including the ability to research, select and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools.

Qualifications required for the role

• Tertiary qualifications at AQF Level 8 or above in Cyber Security, Software Engineering, IT, or related fields.
