The NSW Department of Education is hiring a School Learning Support Officer to assist students with diverse learning needs in classrooms and other settings under teacher direction. You will contribute to student welfare, health and wellbeing activities and may work in preschool, vision support, hearing support, and bilingual streams.

Essential qualifications include nearing or holding an ACECQA Certificate III in Children’s Services or Early Childhood Education and Care, Working with Children

Competenze

• Working toward or holding ACECQA approved Certificate III in Children’s Services or Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Working with Children Check Clearance.
• Mandatory training and willingness to undertake first aid training.
• Administration of Medications training to be provided.
• Health support training to be provided as needed.
• Demonstrated suitability for role in preschool and compliance with NSW policies.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to work with students with emotional, physical or intellectual disabilities.
• Commitment to child safety and trauma-informed practice.
