Qualifications

• Demonstrated expert knowledge of the curriculum and ability to model exemplary teaching across literacy and numeracy.
• Expertise in high impact teaching strategies that respond to student needs and data-driven evaluation of learning programs.
• Ability to monitor and assess student learning and provide feedback to students and parents.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate high-level expertise in teaching and learning practice.
• Model exemplary classroom practice including teaching demonstration lessons.
• Work with leadership to develop a shared view of effective teacher practice.
• Lead and model whole-school improvement strategies related to curriculum planning and delivery.
• Provide professional learning, including observation/ feedback protocols and peer collaboration.
• Support teachers to analyse feedback and improve practice.
• Provide expert advice on context and strategies for school professional learning.
• Supervise and train student teachers and coach teachers.
• Model use of student data to inform teaching approaches.
