Job summary

The Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) seeks a Learning Experience Designer on a 24-month fixed-term contract to design and develop digital and blended learning for its medical specialists. You will apply instructional design, adult learning, accessibility and UX principles to produce engaging content and learner support materials.

You’ll help implement the new LMS/LXP, migrate content, test, and support transition to business-as-usual operations, while collaborating

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Education, Learning Design, Educational Technology, Digital Learning, Information Technology or related discipline.
• Experience designing online and blended learning in education, training or professional environments.
• Extensive experience in eLearning content development, management and review.
• Experience with LMS and/or LXP platforms, including course setup, testing and content migration.
• Experience reviewing digital learning content and quality assurance to improve learning outcomes.
• Experience managing projects or workstreams with multiple stakeholders and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging, learner-centred digital and blended learning experiences aligned with education priorities.
• Apply instructional design, adult learning, accessibility and UX principles across online, blended and microlearning formats.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and program teams to translate content into digital solutions.
• Develop learning assets, storyboards, templates, assessments and learner support materials; review existing content for engagement.
• Support implementation of the LMS/LXP including content prep, migration, testing and rollout.
• Assist with learning pathways, courses and learner journeys; support transition to business-as-usual operations.
• Develop and maintain learning design standards, templates, guidance and quality criteria; support governance and lifecycle activities.
• Coordinate digital learning content activities including creation, migration, review and retirement; identify gaps and duplication.
• Build strong relationships with educators, Fellows, trainees and teams to provide practical guidance on digital learning.
• Support platform adoption and learner engagement through communication and coordination of technical support.
