Job summary

Sydney Church of England Grammar School in North Sydney is seeking an Educational Services Teacher (Learning Enhancement) for a 3-term maternity leave cover starting Term 1, 2027. The role is four days per week, with Thursday and Friday mandatory, and supports students across Years 7–12 with targeted literacy and numeracy intervention.

Qualifications

• Hold relevant qualifications and/or significant experience in special education, learning support, or inclusive education.
• Demonstrate success delivering evidence-based learning support, particularly in literacy and numeracy.
• Be able to administer, interpret and use standardised and diagnostic assessments to plan and evaluate targeted teaching.

Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret diagnostic/standardised assessments to identify needs and monitor progress.
• Deliver evidence-based small-group and individual intervention, with a focus on literacy and numeracy.
• Support teachers to implement adjustments and inclusive strategies across the curriculum.
