Job summary

Glasshouse Christian College on the Sunshine Coast invites a caring Learning Enhancement Teaching Assistant to join our team at Beerwah. You will support students with disability, work with the Learning Enhancement Team and teachers, and help implement IEPs and ESPs in classroom and withdrawal programs.

Qualifications

Be a committed Christian who supports the school's Christian ethos and values.
Demonstrated passion for supporting students with disability and additional learning needs.
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and the Learning Enhancement Team to support differentiated teaching.

Responsibilities

Provide direct and timely support to students with disability within classroom and small-group settings.
Assist with differentiated teaching, learning and assessment under supervision.
Assist with monitoring student progress and maintaining records of learning outcomes.
Support implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Education Support Plans (ESPs).
