Job summary

St Leonard's College invites applications for a Learning Enhancement Assistant to support students with additional learning needs across Years 7–12. This full-time, fixed-term position runs for the 2027 College year, term-time only, reporting to the Head of Learning Enhancement.

You will work with teachers to foster inclusive learning, balance challenge with support, and contribute to a positive College community. A WWCC and relevant qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Education Support or equivalent.
• Outstanding presentation, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and problem solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with students, staff and parents.
• Initiative, reliability and a genuine commitment to inclusive education.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Previous experience in a similar role is valued.
• Current Victorian Working with Children Check.

• Support students with additional learning needs to flourish academically, socially and emotionally across Years 7–12.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to create inclusive and engaging learning environments.
