Job summary

Toorak College on the Mornington Peninsula is seeking a Learning Enhancement Assistant to join the Senior School. You will work with teachers and the Learning Enhancement team to provide individual and small-group support.

You should have relevant qualifications or experience in education or learning support, strong communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and students. This is a permanent part-time position (FTE 0.6) commencing at the start of the 2027 School Year;

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications or experience in education, learning support or related field are advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with students.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and the Learning Enhancement team.
• Familiarity with technology to support student learning and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom teachers with learning programs and activities.
• Provide individual and small-group support to students to improve engagement and outcomes.
• Observe and document student progress as directed by teachers.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries with students, staff and families.
• Develop positive relationships with students and staff to support wellbeing and learning.
