Job summary

Synergie Australia is seeking an AO4 Learning and Development Officer for a trusted client located in the Brisbane CBD. The position is a long-term government contract with a competitive hourly rate of $60–$65 plus Super.

The role requires coordinating learning programs, administering the learner management system, and supporting program delivery across regions. A strong admin background and stakeholder engagement are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learning and development activities.
• Strong administrative and logistical coordination skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
• Proficient with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel and SharePoint.
• Experience administering a learning management system.
• Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and review learning programs.
• Enrol employees in training and respond to learner enquiries.
• Coordinate training logistics and suppliers.
• Administer and maintain learner management system.
• Track and report learning activities and resources.
• Prepare reports, presentations and guides.
• Support program delivery with regional officers.
• Build relationships with stakeholders.
• Manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Produce minutes and internal correspondence.
