Job summary

Melton City Council is seeking a Learning & Development leader to drive the Learning team, design training solutions, and improve employee experience in line with the Wellbeing Plan. You will partner with stakeholders, manage contracts and budgets, and deliver annual corporate learning programs while supporting a culture of continuous improvement and governance within a fast-growing council.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering learning solutions and programs.
• Ability to analyse learning data and measure program impact.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience managing learning budgets and contracts.
• Experience leading or building a learning function.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Learning team to develop and implement learning strategies and programs.
• Partner with SMEs to design fit-for-purpose learning solutions.
• Conduct needs analysis and maintain the annual corporate learning calendar.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage contracts, budgets and reporting for learning activities.
