Melton City Council is seeking a Learning and Development lead to oversee the Learning team and partner with stakeholders to identify capability needs, design and deliver training solutions, and plan the annual corporate calendar.
You will foster a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring programs are effective, compliant, and aligned with the Wellbeing Plan, while managing budgets and contracts.
Band 7 - Salary Range $109,825 to $122,758 per annum + 12% Super + ADO
Salary offered will depend on level of skills and experience.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Organisational Development Coordinator and working in partnership with Chief People Officer and People and Safety Team, this role will lead the Learning team and partner with stakeholders to identify capability needs, design and deliver effective training solutions, plan annual corporate calendar, and improve compliance and induction program to improve employee experience, performance and effectively deliver in alignment with Council and Wellbeing Plan.
Through positive and consultative stakeholder relationships, needs analysis and training effectiveness practices, this role fosters culture of continuous improvement, learning, impact and governance.
