NRI Australia & New Zealand is seeking a Learning & Development Business Partner based in Melbourne to drive growth, capability development, and learning programs across the organisation.

You will partner with leaders and subject matter experts to design impactful initiatives that build capability and support professional growth, delivering measurable outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in Learning & Development, Capability, or Talent Development.
  • Background in professional services, consulting, technology, or a corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and capability frameworks.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LinkedIn Learning highly regarded).
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Analytical, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders to identify capability gaps and needs, delivering targeted learning solutions aligned to business priorities.
  • Coordinate and continuously optimise the annual learning calendar across corporate, leadership, and technical capability programs and initiatives.
  • Support the embedding of the NRI Competency Framework and development pathways across the employee lifecycle.
  • Manage and optimise learning platforms (e.g. LinkedIn Learning), curating relevant content and structured learning journeys to drive engagement.
  • Oversee vendor relationships for certifications, monitoring utilisation, tracking progress, and providing proficiency insights.
  • Analyse learning and capability data to measure effectiveness, inform planning, and provide clear executive-level insights.
  • Facilitate and support L&D initiatives, contributing to program effectiveness and learner experience.
  • Leverage participation data, feedback, and insights to continuously improve learning programs and experiences.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Learning & Development Business Partner to play a key role in driving employee growth, capability development, and development programs across the organisation.

Reporting to the Senior Learning & Development Business Partner and as part of the wider People & Culture team, you will partner closely with business leaders and subject matter experts across NRI to design and deliver impactful learning initiatives that build capability, support professional growth, and strengthen our ability to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients.

About You
