Job summary

Ruah invites an experienced Learning & Development professional to lead capability initiatives, partner with leaders, and drive meaningful workforce development across our values-driven organisation based in Northbridge.

Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you will design engaging learning solutions, deliver training programs and e-learning resources, and support leadership development, compliance, safety and performance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years' experience in Learning and Development or related field.
  • Experience designing, delivering and evaluating learning solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.

About the Role

Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you will partner with leaders and stakeholders across operational and corporate teams to identify capability needs, design engaging learning solutions, and deliver initiatives that support organisational goals. This role plays a key part in strengthening leadership capability, service quality, compliance, safety and employee performance across Ruah Group.

You will lead the development and delivery of training programs, e-learning resources, induction and leadership initiatives, while contributing to organisational projects and continuous improvement activities. This is an exciting opportunity for a learning and development professional who enjoys working collaboratively, influencing positive change, and creating meaningful impact.

This is a permanent full-time position based in Northbridge.

What we're looking for

The successful applicant will be required to meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum two years' experience in Learning and Development, Organisational Development, Capability Development or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience designing, delivering and evaluating learning solutions
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to inclusive practices and the ability to work respectfully and effectively with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, identities and experiences
  • Experience supporting organisational change and project initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems and digital learning platforms

The following criteria are considered desirable:

  • Qualification in Learning and Development, Human Resources, Organisational Development, Education, Adult Learning or a related discipline
  • Experience within the community services, healthcare, aged care, disability, not-for-profit or human services sectors

  • A salary aligned with Level 5 of the Ruah Enterprise Agreement (and the SCHADS Award), starting at $105,916 plus superannuation
  • 5 weeks annual leave plus 17.5% annual leave loading (for award-based staff)
  • 16 weeks paid parental leave, with flexibility to take at 32 weeks half-pay. New staff can access 4 weeks paid parental leave after just 6 months' service
