Job summary

WorkSafe Victoria is seeking a Learning and Capability Administrator to join the Learning & Capability team in Geelong on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role blends administration, project coordination and stakeholder engagement to support learning initiatives across the organisation.

You will manage learning records, assist with training schedules and reporting, and contribute to the design and evaluation of learning programs.

Qualifications

  • Experience providing administration or coordination support in a busy environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience coordinating communications, activities or projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to organise work effectively, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
  • Certificate IV in Business, Business Administration, Training & Assessment or a related discipline.
  • Experience working within learning, capability, organisational development or human resources functions.
  • Exposure to Learning Management Systems (LMS) and learning administration processes.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.

  • $75,954 per annum + 12% superannuation
  • Full time / 12 months fixed term opportunity
  • Wadawurrung/Geelong based role (hybrid work from home – 3 days a week in office)

Our Learning & Organisational Development team plays a critical role in building the capability of our people, ensuring they have the skills, knowledge and tools needed to deliver meaningful outcomes for the Victorian community. This role sits within the Learning & Capability team, supporting the delivery of learning initiatives that help create a safer and healthier Victoria.

As a Learning & Capability Administrator, you'll be at the centre of delivering engaging learning experiences across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to combine project coordination, stakeholder engagement and administration while gaining exposure to learning design, training delivery and capability development initiatives. What you’ll do

You're a highly organised and proactive administrator who enjoys supporting projects and working collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders. You have a customer-focused approach and take pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work. With excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail, you're able to manage competing priorities while maintaining a positive and solutions-focused mindset.

Additionally, you will possess the following skills and experience
