• Ability to plan and implement high impact teaching strategies that meet student learning needs and evaluate impact.
• Monitor and assess student learning and use data to drive improvement across the school.
• Exemplary interpersonal and leadership skills for collaborative relationships with students, staff, families and the community.
• Model Department values and contribute to whole-school professional learning.
• Qualify teachers and demonstrate authenticity, enthusiasm and positive school presence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the implementation of whole-school improvement initiatives aligned with the school strategic plan.
• Coordinate curriculum planning and delivery across learning areas.
• Provide professional development and support for teaching staff within priorities.
• Oversee staff performance and development, including assessment and reporting policies.
• Contribute to policy development related to teaching and learning and school operations.
• Foster strong collaboration with students, colleagues and families to support student wellbeing and engagement.
