Job summary

MyBuild Commercial is seeking a capable Leading Hand / Site Supervisor for commercial projects in North Queensland. You will lead on-site operations, coordinate trades, and ensure safety and quality across sites.

Reporting to the Project Manager and Construction Director, you will supervise subcontractors, review drawings, manage site records, and drive on-time delivery with a hands-on leadership style. This role offers a fast-track path to site leadership within a growing regional business,

Qualifications

• Lead carpenter aiming to progress to site leadership.
• Hands-on site leader who builds strong relationships with team and stakeholders.
• Experience on commercial construction projects.
• Fast growth potential in commercial site supervision and team leadership.
• Strong understanding of sequencing and quality finishes.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and site teams.
• Knowledge of WHS legislation and site safety practices.
• Current Construction White Card
• Current Driver Licence

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all on-site activities.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and direct labour.
• Maintain compliance with WHS and quality requirements.
• Conduct site meetings and liaise with clients and consultants.
• Review drawings and specifications for accuracy.
• Identify and resolve site issues proactively.
• Maintain site records and progress updates.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time.
