Job summary

DLF Seeds is seeking a hands on Leading Hand – Processing to join our Melbourne Warehouse team. The role oversees day-to-day processing activities, ensures production targets are met and maintains high standards of quality and safety.

You will supervise the processing room, allocate resources, train and support team members, keep accurate records and collaborate with other departments to maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a processing environment, ideally in a leading hand role.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to guide and motivate a team.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• LF Forklift licence or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate manufacturing tasks within the processing room.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and procedures.
• Monitor workflow and allocate resources to meet production targets.
• Support and train team members to achieve performance goals.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with inventory control.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

The Role

• Ideally experienced LF Forklift licence, preferable reach truck, we can train.
