Emeco International is seeking a hands-on Leading Hand Heavy Diesel Fitter to join the Foxleigh Mine team. You will lead and mentor a crew of tradespeople while actively participating in workshop and field maintenance to keep our fleet operating safely and efficiently.

The role suits someone who thrives on leadership, teamwork, and getting on the tools, with the option of FIFO or DIDO on a 7/7 roster. Camp accommodation and meals are provided, plus super paid on every hour worked and a 190-hour

Competenze

• Must hold Australian recognised trade qualification.
• Experience in leading hands or senior fitter roles.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability.
• Experience across workshop and field maintenance.
• Coal mining maintenance experience.
• Pass pre-employment medical and police clearance.

We're chasing a hands-on Leading Hand Heavy Diesel Fitter to join the Emeco team atFoxleigh Mine.

In this role, you'll lead and mentor a team of tradespeople while remaining actively involved in workshop and field maintenance. You'll coordinate daily crew activities, support breakdown response, and help keep our fleet operating safely and efficiently. Ideal for someone who enjoys leadership, teamwork, and getting on the tools.

What You’ll Bring

Australian recognised trade qualification

Previous experience in a Leading Hand or senior fitter role

Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and police clearance
