Job summary

Emeco International is seeking a hands-on Leading Hand Heavy Diesel Fitter to join the Foxleigh Mine team. You will lead and mentor a crew of tradespeople while actively participating in workshop and field maintenance to keep our fleet operating safely and efficiently.

The role suits someone who thrives on leadership, teamwork, and getting on the tools, with the option of FIFO or DIDO on a 7/7 roster. Camp accommodation and meals are provided, plus super paid on every hour worked and a 190-hour

Qualifications

• Must hold Australian recognised trade qualification.
• Experience in leading hands or senior fitter roles.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability.
• Experience across workshop and field maintenance.
• Coal mining maintenance experience.
• Pass pre-employment medical and police clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of tradespeople on site and in the workshop.
• Coordinate daily crew activities and support breakdown response.
• Maintain fleet safety and efficiency through hands-on involvement.
• Ensure tasks are completed to a high standard and on schedule.
