Job summary

Qube Holdings in Moura, Australia is seeking an experienced Leading Hand Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The role involves fault diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of company vehicles and equipment, reporting to the Maintenance Manager.

We offer full-time positions either DIDO or locally based, 7-on/7-off dayshift, salary plus super, accommodation, and opportunities for career growth within a safety-first workplace.

Qualifications

• A diesel mechanic qualification with previous experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience working with Kenworth, Cummins and trailers.
• Prior experience with fault diagnosis, both electrical & hydraulic.
• Ability to maintain accurate records of work completed.
• Ability to pass a Coal Board Medical.
• Ability to obtain Standard 11 Induction Certificate.
• Hold a current driver’s license.
• Have an ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
• Have the ability to pass an ASIO/Police clearance.
• Have a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Fault diagnose and repair of company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform maintenance tasks and keep records.
• Complete the required medical and inductions.
• Collaborate with team to achieve Zero Harm and an inclusive workplace.

In order to be successful in the Diesel Fitter role, it is essential that candidates have:
