Job summary

Qube Bulk, part of Qube Holdings, is seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter based in Mt Isa. You will diagnose faults, repair and maintain fleet vehicles and equipment across mine-to-market operations. The role supports a 7-on/7-off roster with both FIFO and locally based options.

Qualifications

• Diesel mechanic qualification with experience in a similar role.
• Experience with Kenworth, Cummins and CAT vehicles.
• Ability to diagnose faults electrical and hydraulic.
• Maintain accurate work records.
• Hold a current driver’s license.
• Able to work autonomously and in a team.

What's the role?

We are looking for experienced Diesel Fitters to join the Qube team, based in Mt Isa. Reporting to the Workshop Shift Supervisor, this role will perform fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance of company vehicles and equipment.

In order to be successful in the Diesel Fitter role, it is essential that candidates have:

• A diesel mechanic qualification with previous experience in a similar role
• Proven experience working with Kenworth, Cummins and CAT vehicles
• Prior experience with fault diagnosis, both electrical & hydraulic
• Ability to maintain accurate records of work completed
• Hold a current driver’s license
• Have an ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
• Have the ability to pass an ASIO/Police clearance
• Have a positive attitude
