Job summary

Qube Holdings is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join the team in Toowoomba region. Based at Acland, you will diagnose faults, repair and maintain fleet vehicles and equipment, reporting to the Workshop Shift Supervisor.

The role is full-time on a 7-on/7-off roster with salary plus super and opportunities for career development within a large, diverse operation.

Qualifications

• A diesel mechanic qualification with previous experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience with heavy vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance of company vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed.

What's the role?

We are looking for experienced Diesel Mechanics to join the Qube team, based in the Acland. Reporting to the Workshop Shift Supervisor, this role will perform fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance of company vehicles and equipment.

In order to be successful in the Diesel Fitter role, it is essential that candidates have:

• A diesel mechanic qualification with previous experience in a similar role
• Proven experience working with Kenworth, Cummins and CAT vehiclesi>
• Prior experience with fault diagnosis, both electrical & hydraulic
• Ability to maintain accurate records of work completed
• Ability to pass a Coal Board Medical
• Ability to obtain Standard 11 Induction Certificate
• Hold a current driver’s license
• Have an ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
• Have the ability to pass an ASIO/Police clearance
• Have a positive attitude
