Job summary

CQ Civcon is a local Yeppoon based business specialising in concreting with a forward book of works across Central Queensland, including Rockhampton and Yeppoon. We work on civil, residential and commercial projects and are seeking skilled Leading Hands, experienced concreters and labourers with plenty of hours and flexible options.

Additional opportunities exist at Mt Morgan Mine and shed slabs out of town for those seeking extra money.

Qualifications

• White card, driver's licence, HR licence and advantage.
• Cert 3 concreting an advantage; S11 and mining experience are also advantages.
• Must have experience placing and finishing concrete.
• Labourers to have construction industry experience.
• Australian work rights required.

Responsibilities

• Set out slabs, formwork, install reinforcement, pour and finish concrete slabs.
• Ongoing full-time work with overtime; rates negotiable for the right candidate in a close-knit team.

Job description

CQ CIVCON is a local Yeppoon based business specialising in concreting . We have a large forward book of works around the Central Queensland area including Rockhampton , Yeppoon ( With a steady stream of Civil,Residential and Commercial projects ) we are seeking a skilled Leading hand, experienced concreters and labourers and have plenty of hours on offer but can offer flexible hours if needed. We have a large portfolio of in local commercial work, shed slabs, driveways etc town for those who prefer in town work. We also have positions at Mt Morgan Mine and large shed slabs out of town for those who like the extra money for working away.

Qualifications & experience

White card , driver's licence, HR licence and advantage ( not essential ), cert 3 concreting an advantage ( also not essential ) , S11 and mining experience is also an advantage. must have experience placing and finishing concrete .Labourers to have experience working in construction industry.

Minimum 6-12 months experience in concrete placing and finishing is required.

Labourers must have a minimum of 6-12 months construction industry experience.

Candidates must have Australian work rights.

Tasks & responsibilities

Set out slabs , formwork , install reinforcement, pour and finish concrete slabs.

Consistent ongoing work , top industry rates and willing to negotiate the rates for the right candidate, local business , close-knit team , overtime hours on offer and full time positions available.
