Job summary

NQES Industries is seeking an Experienced Concreter to perform high-quality concrete works across residential, commercial, and civil sites. Candidates should be reliable, physically fit, and able to work independently or in a small crew. Training and upskilling available.

Must have 2+ years concreting experience, White Card, and a valid driver’s licence. Relocation to Mount Isa or current residence there is required; FIFO not offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years concreting experience (Civil/commercial preferred).
• Strong understanding of cementing techniques and finishing standards.
• Ability to work in hot, dusty, and fast-paced environments.
• White Card (mandatory).
• Driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, physically fit and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work unsupervised when required.
• Full Australian working rights.

We support major contractors and private clients across North Queensland, delivering high‑quality labour, concrete works, and site services. We are expanding our team and seeking an Experienced Concreter who takes pride in their workmanship and can deliver consistent, high‑standard results.

You will be responsible for carrying out high‑quality concrete works across residential, commercial, and civil sites. This role suits someone who is reliable, physically fit, and confident working independently or as part of a small crew. Training and upskilling available.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Concrete placement, finishing, screeding and curing to a high standard
• Formwork and reinforcement installation
• Safe use of hand and power tools
• Assisting with pours, site prep and clean‑up
• Working to deadlines, while maintaining quality
• Must be willing to relocate or already reside in Mount Isa - Sorry No FIFO
• Ongoing stable work over multiple sites including remote work
