Job summary

Terranovus Civil is seeking a capable Leading Hand to support an established project team in Cairns and surrounds. You will assist the supervisor to plan, coordinate resources and deliver civil construction works safely, on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates bring proven frontline leadership, strong reading of construction plans, experience with heavy equipment, and a commitment to safety and teamwork. Local knowledge of Queensland standards is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Leading Hand.
• Relevant industry certifications.
• Strong knowledge of local standards or ability to obtain.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Committed to safety and teamwork.
• Valid driver’s license.
