Job summary

Queensland Curriculum & Assessment Authority in Brisbane is seeking a Principal Workforce Delivery Officer (Business Solutions and Projects) to lead business systems improvements and drive digital transformation across the Program Workforce unit.

The role involves managing projects, collaborating with IT and business stakeholders, and developing plans to optimise processes and tool adoption, including Microsoft 365, JIRA and Vision6.

Responsibilities

• Lead business system and process improvement projects including mapping current and future state, analyzing requirements to optimise functionality, coordinating readiness activities, including training, communications and UAT, implementing improvements using technology, facilitating workshops and documenting outcomes.
• Develop and maintain documentation for business systems, processes and best practices to support operations and system capability, including knowledge base across the branch.
• Serve as SME on Microsoft 365 apps, ITSM tool (JIRA), mass communications tool (Vision6), in-house apps such as the QCAA portal and Assessor Jobs platform, and other systems, guiding staff to maximise adoption and efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, vendors and stakeholders to support implementation, testing and optimisation of systems and digital solutions.
• Manage system implementation and improvement projects including plans, timelines and budgets, and oversee execution for successful outcomes.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to garner support for change initiatives and foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Drive a culture of feedback and innovation, identifying opportunities for enhancement and implementing solutions.
• Administer system access and reporting by coordinating user access, maintaining permissions, producing access/utilisation reports and supporting access reviews.
