Job summary

UGL is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join the project delivery team in Australia. You will coordinate construction activities, lead site teams and subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a Superintendent or similar construction leadership role.
• Experience delivering utilities, infrastructure, energy, or construction projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple work fronts and competing priorities with safety in focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily construction activities across the project.
• Manage site personnel, subcontractors, plant, equipment and resources.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, risk management, and compliance.
• Monitor progress and implement solutions to sustain productivity and efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Support workforce planning, onboarding and development activities.
• Ensure quality workmanship and compliance with project requirements.
• Manage workforce performance, attendance and timesheet accuracy.
• Build high-performing teams through coaching and leadership.
