Qualificações

• Demonstrated expert knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to lead school priorities.
• Ability to implement high-impact teaching strategies and evaluate their impact on learning growth.
• Ability to monitor and assess student learning and use data to inform practice and communicate growth.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills for collaboration with students, staff and community.
• Demonstrate alignment with Department values and contribute to whole-school professional learning.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage whole-school improvement initiatives aligned with the school strategic plan and priorities.
• Lead curriculum planning and delivery improvements across the school.
• Provide professional development and development plans for teaching staff within priorities.
• Oversee staff performance and development (reviews).
• Demonstrate teaching and modelling lessons.
• Develop and implement assessment and reporting policies and practices.
• Oversee student welfare and discipline policies.
• Contribute to curriculum development in major learning areas.
• Manage general discipline matters beyond classroom teaching.
• Contribute to school leadership and policy development.
• Develop proposals for school council consideration and the school code of conduct.
