Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for Cowal Gold Operations in New South Wales. You will deliver a mix of capital and sustaining projects across fixed plant, infrastructure and operational assets to improve safety, reliability and site performance.

This role offers residential on-site work in West Wyalong with a pipeline of engineering initiatives and growth opportunities. You will lead contractors and cross-functional teams, mentor engineers and ensure compliance with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience delivering structural, infrastructure or industrial projects from concept to execution.
• Experience in mining, resources, heavy industry, manufacturing, energy or similar environments.
• Strong project management, stakeholder engagement and contractor management capability.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards and engineering compliance requirements.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to Safety, Excellence, Accountability and Respect.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structural capital and sustaining projects that improve safety, reliability and operational performance across site.
• Develop practical engineering solutions from concept through to execution, creating lasting value for the operation.
• Lead contractors, consultants and project teams to deliver work safely, on schedule and within budget.
• Provide technical guidance and support across structural engineering projects and operational improvements.
• Identify opportunities to improve asset performance, infrastructure reliability and engineering standards.
• Strengthen capability across the engineering team through technical leadership, mentoring and knowledge sharing.
