Job summary

Repco, part of GPC Asia Pacific, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Brisbane to oversee daily store operations and support the team in delivering outstanding customer service. You will coach staff, lead by example, and ensure safety standards while working closely with the Store Manager.

Ideally, candidates will have supervisory or retail experience, some automotive parts knowledge, and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience or readiness for the next step.
• Retail or trade experience including sales, wholesale, and/or workshop operations.
• Ideally have mechanical / automotive parts knowledge.
• Flexible availability and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift and handle heavy products and maintain safety.

• Coach and develop team members to improve performance.
• Model genuine service and create moments that matter for customers.
• Maintain a safe work environment and act as a safety leader.
• Set a positive example and manage opening/closing duties.

• Work closely with the Store Managers in leading the team, and managing operations to achieve success
• Coach and develop team members
• Live, breathe & role model genuine service, creating moments that matter for customers
• Are safety leaders, always providing the safest work environment for themselves, team members & customers
• Always set a positive example
• Often have opening and closing responsibilities

About you:

• Have previous supervisory experience, or be ready for that next step
• Demonstrate previous retail or trade experience, including sales, wholesale, and/or workshop operations experience
• Ideally have mechanical / automotive parts knowledge
• Have a flexible availability and hold a valid driver’s licence
• Have the physical capacity to perform the duties of the role (including handling products of a heavy nature)
• Prioritise safety

Note, this role will require lifting, bending, climbing & safe driving.
