Job summary

The Sporting Globe Geelong is seeking skilled Head Chefs, Sous Chefs and Chef de Parties to lead busy kitchen operations in a high-volume sports bar and grill. You will be responsible for preparing and delivering quality meals, following national recipes and plating guides, and ensuring fast, consistent service.

You will maintain food safety and cleanliness, manage section allocation and daily operations with the Sous and Head Chef, and contribute to menu development and specials.

Qualifications

• Diploma qualification or 2-3 years of relevant work experience are required.
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience are required for this role.
• Working rights are required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver meals within a high-volume restaurant and pub environment.
• Follow national recipes and plating guides to ensure consistency.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food hygiene to the highest standards.
• Allocate staff to sections and assist in managing daily kitchen operations with the Sous and Head Chef.
• Contribute to back-of-house management and menu development, including specials and limited-time offers.
• Manage stock ordering, delivery receipts, and temperature log reporting.
