Job summary

The Sporting Globe Geelong is seeking experienced chefs to join our busy kitchen team. We are hiring Head Chefs, Sous Chefs and Chef de Parties who share a passion for quality food, fast service, and guest satisfaction in a high-volume pub environment.

You will lead kitchen operations, ensure food safety, follow national recipes and plating guides, manage sections and assist the Back of House team with menu items and specials, while upholding The Sporting Globe standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma qualification in a relevant field is required.
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience is required.
• Working rights for this role are required.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all meals are cooked The Sporting Globe Way.
• Following our national recipes and plating guides.
• Ensuring meals are served quickly and of high quality.
• Maintaining kitchen hygiene and cleanliness at all times.
• Adhering to food preparation and cleanliness guidelines.
• Allocating staff to sections and managing kitchen operations with the Sous/Head Chef.
• Contributing to Back of House to improve menu items and develop specials.
• Managing stock ordering, delivery receipts, and temperature logs.
