Job summary

The San Telmo Group is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to lead daily kitchen operations at San Telmo Brisbane. You will work closely with the Head Chef to maintain food quality, consistency and team development in a high-volume, Argentinian-inspired kitchen.

This full-time role offers a clear path to leadership within an established hospitality group, with a focus on premium produce, training and progression opportunities across six venues in Melbourne and Brisbane.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef, or senior Chef de Partie with leadership capability.
• Strong operational and technical cooking skills across multiple kitchen sections.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Kitchen Operations & Food Quality – support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, maintaining quality and consistency.
• People Leadership & Development – lead, coach and develop the kitchen team with feedback and training.
• Kitchen Management & Compliance – assist rostering, labour, stock orders, food costs and safety standards.
