Job summary

SRA Information Technology is seeking an experienced Lead Solution Architect to provide strategic technical leadership for government and regulated environments in Canberra. You will lead a team of solution architects, govern architectures and oversee end-to-end technology solutions, balancing security, scalability and business outcomes.

Applicants should bring 5+ years in software or systems architecture, 3+ years leading teams, and experience with SAFe, TOGAF or SABSA frameworks, Azure,

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in software, solution or systems architecture in government or regulated environments.
• Experience leading solution architecture teams or practices for at least three years.
• Experience with scaled agile, including PI planning, feature assessment and architecture scrum events.
• Strong knowledge of governance, technology evaluation and TOGAF or SABSA frameworks.
• Experience integrating AI into enterprise architecture and communicating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Solution Architects.
• Provide architectural direction and quality assurance across solution design activities.
• Oversee end-to-end design and assurance of technology solutions.
• Translate business and technical requirements into practical architectures.
• Provide architecture governance and delivery oversight.
• Contribute to enterprise roadmaps and future-state planning.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI, and their enterprise application.
