Job summary

Calleo Australia is seeking an experienced Solution Architect for a long-term Canberra-based contract with our Federal Government client.

You will lead architecture design across applications, data, infrastructure and security, collaborate with SMEs and vendors, and ensure alignment with ICT standards and business outcomes. The role emphasizes independent delivery, compliance, and shaping technical options for complex programs.

Qualifications

• Experience as a solution architect delivering ICT designs and options.
• Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities.
• Ability to deliver artefacts and gain approvals for federal ICT solutions.
• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in ICT.
• Specialised knowledge in relevant technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design or assure ICT solution designs and oversee implementation with SMEs and vendors.
• Apply industry methodologies to end-to-end architecture across applications, data, infrastructure and security.
• Liaise with the Enterprise Architect to ensure alignment with department ICT environment.
• Develop transition plans and provide technical leadership for system integration.
